Do you believe in the power of intuition?

Five years ago I had a feeling that what I needed to do to expand my PR firm was to create a monthly business magazine that would enable entrepreneurs to educate other entrepreneurs about best practices in small business.

After all, my clients wanted to be featured in the news. What better way to do that than to launch an online magazine that would feature their insights and wisdom, help them reach an even broader audience, and also provide my firm with an additional revenue stream.

My gut instinct panned out. With the January 2015 issue of Be Inkandescent magazine, we embark on our sixth year of publishing.

The magazine gets nearly a million visits each month. We have more than 50,000 subscribers, thousands of social media contacts, and dozens of columnists who regularly write for the magazine.

And we believe the best is yet to come.

Case in point: Our cover girl this month is world-renowned intuitive guide Laura Day.

Her fans include Nicole Kidman, Chris Rock, and Brad Pitt, who said: “I believe in the gut, and I believe in Laura Day.”

I had the opportunity to attend Day’s 2014 “Intuition Boot Camp” in New York City last month.
