The Grateful American™ TV Show is the video production division of David Bruce Smith’s Grateful American™ Foundation — an organization that is dedicated to restoring enthusiasm for American history, in children and adults.
Featuring interviews with the leaders of the nation’s top presidential homes, history experts, authors, and educators, the show is co-hosted by Smith, an author and publisher, and journalist Hope Katz Gibbs, executive producer of the Grateful American™ Foundation.
“We have so much fun creating these videos, and we hope that feeling is contagious,” says Gibbs, who produces the videos with the goal of providing an easy to digest, educational way for kids, parents, grandparents—and anyone with an interest in history—to learn more about our Founding Fathers and Mothers.”
Smith adds: “That’s why at the end of each episode we offer three nuggets of information that you’ll want to discuss with your kids at dinner tonight. We hope these bite-size bits of information will help families play with the information, and inspire kids and adults to want to learn more.”
The Grateful American™ TV Show is available on YouTube, Vimeo, DCTV, and other public access stations throughout the country. The shows run 28 minutes on public access channels, and 6 minutes online.
